Google Play isn’t just another app store, but the way it showed up in the world didn’t reflect that. It lacked clarity, connection, and fun. We set out to change that by evolving its brand identity to better capture how it connects people to their digital ecosystem in a way that feels dynamic and distinctly Play.
My partner and I were part of a cross-disciplinary team that launched this new era of Google Play into the world with a new brand film and a full 360 suite of assets, turning every interaction into an invitation to explore, discover, and Go Play.
